Who I am beyond Design

I didn’t plan on becoming a designer.
When I was younger, I was always drawn to healthcare and medicine (anything that had the potential to help people). But in my final year of high school, I took a programming class and ended up loving it. That was the missing piece that made me realise that maybe there’s a way to connect both worlds.
Design became that path. A space where I could combine logic and creativity, empathy and systems, structure and care. Somewhere along the way, I realised that design could be both a craft and a way to make a difference — especially in the health space.

My inspirations and interests

I get inspired when I’m away from screens — usually at the beach, in a café, or just watching the sea. That quiet time helps me clear my head and recharge.

I like film photography because it slows things down. You don’t see the result right away, and that teaches me to be more patient — not everything has to be perfect on the first try.

When I’m not designing, I’m with friends or family, working out to clear my head, or chasing the sun with a beer in hand.

Where I’m heading

I want to keep designing for impact — especially in spaces like health and tech, where good design can truly improve lives

I’m also passionate about teaching, mentoring, and learning from others. In the long run, I’d love to be part of a community where sharing knowledge is as important as shipping features.

To me, design is about more than interfaces — it’s about intention, empathy and long-term thinking.
